Boogie is capturing the darker side of human existence.

In his talk the photographer will talk about his ups and downs, how his upbringing has inspired his (professional) life until today. How do you keep doing – keep inspired – by seeing, feeling and photographing brutally honest moments? What does that do to you, your work and outlook on life? Also he will focus on his new Book that is released the same month of this talk.

Born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia, Boogie began photographing rebellion and unrest during the civil war that ravaged his country during the 1990s. Growing up in a war-torn country defined Boogie’s style and attraction to the darker side of human existence.

His high profiled clients value this unique angle of his work which has been exhibited around the world. Boogie lives and works between Brooklyn and Belgrade.

Finally, his best-known art works are:

It’s All Good (powerHouse Books, 2006) // Boogie (powerHouse Books, 2007) // Sao Paulo (Upper Playground, 2008) // Istanbul (Upper Playground, 2008) // Belgrade, Belongs To Me (powerHouse Books, 2009) // A Wah Do Dem (Drago Publishing 2015) // It’s All Good Anniversary Edition (powerHouse Books, 2017) // Belgrade Guide (New Moment, 2017) // Moscow (powerHouse Books 2018) // Neapolis (Drago Publishing 2021)
