Robin Woern is a media artist and designer, living and working in Berlin. His artistic practice is focused on embodying ephemeral processes and immaterial information. It moves between art, design, and science.

His physical data visualization Pi will be exhibited at Forward Festival. The kinetic sculpture is based on randomly distributed digits of pi, where noise appears as a seemingly inexhaustible well of non-periodic elements, setting the objects in motion. The sculpture was developed by Niklas Thran.
