‘Digital Eyes’

A Film by Found

 

Play and exploration are the driving forces behind London motion studio, Found. In his talk at Forward Festival 2020, Founding Partner and Creative Director Mike Sharpe will shine a light on the studio’s more experimental projects, and discuss the importance of self-initiated work. Mike will then take us behind the scenes for an in-depth look into the thought process and technical challenges of creating ‘Digital Eyes’, the Main Titles for this year’s festival.

 

Found is a London studio combining cutting-edge 3D motion design with traditional film craft. Collaborative and experimental, they align the artistry of a boutique studio with the rigour of a production house, creating cinematic motion work for some of the world’s leading brands and agencies. Fusing visual storytelling and technical filmmaking, their recent work for premium whiskey brand Ballantine’s, saw them create the acclaimed fully CGI film, ‘Too Good to Hide’. In addition to a haul of industry awards, Found have gained the recognition of prestigious film institutions such as LIFF and The Critics’ Circle.

 

Mike Sharpe is a leading figure within the film and motion design industry. With over twenty years’ experience in live-action and animation direction, he continues to push Found forwards into new and exciting new ground. With a standout level of creative and technical expertise, he leads the studio in developing work for an enviable list of high-profile clients.
