Supersense founder Florian “Doc” Kaps is probably best known for saving Polaroid film from extinction by launching The Impossible Project in 2008, laying the foundation for keeping the unique, amazing medium of Polaroid photography and its legacy alive and kicking.

If you’re tired of your hundreds of photos locked behind your smartphone’s screen and ready for a bit of photographic warmth and fun, this workshop is the perfect start into your Polaroid adventure.

First, you’ll be introduced to the most popular Polaroid camera types, how they work and how to treat the instant film material for best results. After these basics, we’ll roll up our sleeves and introduce you to a legendary, classic manipulation technique: the emulsion lift, where you transfer the image emulsion onto any other desired surface.
