Found Studio did a rebrand and it’s more than just a facelift: Behind the shiny new logo and a whole new visual presence, there is the culmination of a year spent evolving as far as creative processes, studio direction and collaborations go.
Have you already seen the Forward Festival 2021 Main Titles, that give you a real goosebump feeling? It got created by London-based studio Found, who created a concept around the threshold between the real and the virtual. Now, Found Studio presents a thoughtful rebrand, that not only is a new design of the logo and the entire visual presence, but can be understood as an evolution of the studio throughout the last year.
As the studio has matured, Found’s work has evolved to be more design-led, with an ever-increasing focus on CGI. It still retains the live-action sensibility that’s always been one of the trademarks, but now the creatives are more concerned with looking forward, and understanding how their craft can develop in the future with emerging technologies.
The idea of the new Found-logo was built upon three words: simple, impactful and iconic. At its heart, this is a simple typographic form that plays with light and shadow. It’s a balance of classic and contemporary, reflecting the way Found approaches its craft.
Alongside the logo, Found has completely overhauled the visual identity, creating the new look entirely with Google Workspace in mind. As a new part of the minimalistic and iconic website, Found has added the section Studio to their web presence to communicate the craft, care, and imagination of the artists and storytellers at Found.
As much in love with Found as we are? You are in luck – they are speaking at the Forward Festival Hamburg! Get your ticket here.
