Images Vevey
Every two years, the visual art festival presents a new unique collection of made-to-measure indoor and outdoor photography exhibitions and displays, to be discovered free of charge throughout Vevey. By bringing together over 45 artists from some twenty countries, the Images Vevey biennial aims to create links for reunion and togetherness. Our connection with others and with our environment, the importance and fragility of social and family ties, the joys and sorrows when the collective and the individual coexist: these are just some of the topics the 2022 Festival tackles.

PARALLEL VIENNA

OFF GRID
The third edition of the Viennese off-photo scene festival will present a diverse program. In addition to the main exhibition at the GREEN DOOR artists space & gallery in the Kreta Grätzl, visitors will be able to attend further exhibitions at decentralised Viennese cultural venues, as well as concerts, performances, readings and workshops. The opening of the festival will take place on 7 September 2022 from 6 pm at the GREEN DOOR artists space & gallery.

Curated by, the gallery festival with international curators in Vienna. It integrates both established and young galleries, and has been presenting contemporary positions on an overarching topics since 2009. This year’s theme KELET is dominated by the traumatic geopolitical events that currently overshadow all art and culture talk, namely the Ukraine war. VIENNA DESIGN WEEK
Beyond the preoccupation with the design of products, Austria’s one of the most important multidisciplinary festival poses the question of what role the work of designers plays for coexistence in the city and worldwide. Since 2007, Vienna Design Week has been a defining part of Vienna’s design landscape. This year it jumps a bit further into the city center, into the 6th district. In addition to the festival headquarters there will also be a special focus on Mariahilf that deals with topics relevant to the district.
