After sharing your artworks on our Instagram feed for five years now, we are excited to announce that the Moon Exhibition now has its own website! Created by the team of Readymag design tool, it has turned into a proper exhibition showing over 50 artworks by up-and-coming creatives. Submissions are possible anytime and can be uploaded quickly and easily at moonexhibition.com under submit.

Ongoing features since 2015

It all started in 2015, when we wanted to use our reach to give aspiring creative people the opportunity to make their work accessible to a large audience. We started an open call for artworks and every Monday, one creative has been introduced on our Instagram channel.

From now on, they will be uploaded to the virtual gallery under moonexhibition.com and every creator gets their Instagram/website linked.

A selection of the submitted artworks has been (and will again be) projected onto a Moon installation at the Forward Festivals in Vienna, Munich, Hamburg and Berlin.

Open call, open for all disciplines

The main idea of the Moon Exhibition remains the same: it is open to artists from all disciplines, be it graphic design, photography, painting, architecture, UX design – there are no limits to creativity. It even features augmented reality works that have been published in the Forward Print Magazine 2020 and can be animated using the Forward App by Artefact.

New normal, new platform

The aim of the Moon Exhibition is to connect creative people and offer a platform for exchange and inspiration. This became even more important during the COVID-19 lockdown, when we initiated a special edition of the Moon Exhibition, the Lockdown Special. Now, we’re slowly going back to new normal and so does the Moon Exhibition with its new website. We’re more than happy to finally see it becoming the virtual exhibition we had in mind when we started it and we can’t wait for more submissions.
