Every month, the Forward Magazine brings you a selection of musical gems hand-picked by friends, musicians, speakers of the Forward Festival, and many more. This special edition was created by a member of the Forward team, inspired by all the music we needed and wanted to push forward.

We are really looking forward to 2023 and we hope you are too. Not only because we are planning the biggest Forward Festival Berlin yet and also can’t wait for another legendary edition of Forward Vienna, but also because we are always eager for the new challenges, new people along the way and of course all the great creative talent that we get to know during out next season. While 2022 has been a great year for Forward with all sold-out Festivals, we’ve also been working on our Forward Magazine and a variety of projects for our clients – always accompanied by our monthly playlists.

With this playlist we tried to calm down, stimulate and motivate us to keep going. We hope that all creatives, all friends of forward and all music lovers out there will also like this Press Forward edition. Hopefully this compilation will give you new strength for the next year, we already know it will keep us going.

We covered a wide range of genres including some bangers from Kendrick Lamar, Bawo feat. Reek0 and Stormzy for a chill vibe with friends or even at work. We also included some slower songs to play comfortably in the background or for anyone who is just in the mood for more sentimental songs – we got you covered with songs from LEISURE, Rosalia, The Weeknd and Metro Boomin, SAULT and many more. Of course, we’ve also thought about the New Year’s Eve parties you’ll all be going to. For that we have some good tracks from Bvisible. All in all, thanks to many different great artists, the playlist is suitable for every mood to get you in the mood for the year 2023.

We can’t wait for our next festivals and to get inspired by all the wonderful speakers and every single one of you in the audience, whether it is in Berlin or Vienna.

We wish you all a happy new year and most importantly see you in 2023!
