One seems to not be getting enough of Sucuk & Bratwurst these days. Brands like Mugler and Umbro are hungry for the Berlin-based 3D artists and lately, also Rihanna got to taste a bite of Sucuk & Bratwurst. With an animated trailer for Rihanna’s limited vinyl record edition, the designers have basically caught the whole internet’s attention and are far from done.

From 2D and 3D Graphics for Dior to the core concept ideas and animation for Valentino, Sucuk keeps on capturing major attention in recent years. With a growing list of desirable clients and established partnerships with Moncler, Alexander Wang and Rimowa, we step into a world of edgy visuals and unique aesthetic of Bratwurst’s work.

The secret ingredient to Sucuk & Bratwurst? The guy’s own kind of humor, which the team around Alessandro Belliero, David Gönner, Denis Olgac and Lukas Olgac, implements into their work, establishing personal connection to the projects and the people they work with. Their latest project is 3D Visuals for the release of Rihanna’s Limited Vinyl Record Edition. The trailer plays with the vinyl’s shape while also visualizing RiRi’s most iconic songs in 3D. Each of Rihanna’s albums, from her 2005 debut Music of the Sun through to 2016’s Anti are now available for pre-order. Each vinyl has been repressed in a unique color and comes in packaging curated by Rihanna herself.

The team has been friends since kindergarten and has grown creatively in that self-taught and passionate way that characterizes the fresh new generation’s approach. The result is pure multidisciplinarity. And even though 3D is what binds them, they also experiment with art direction, sculpting, clothing, animation and graphic design.

“We do not want to commit ourselves to one medium; we want to do and try out as much as possible and whatever we enjoy. When it comes to commercial work, the customer has a lot of influence, but when it comes to art, we are completely free in the design. And this is what we love and appreciate the most at the end of the day”
