Fons Hickmann – A multi-talented creative.

He is a true multi-talent. From having studied design, photography and philosophy, founded a design Studio “Fons Hickmann M23”, to being a professor at Berlin University of the Arts and occasionally an author. Fons has done it all.

Fons’ Studio focuses on corporate design for cultural events, Theater and Opera, such as SemperOper, State Opera Munich and the Vienna State Opera House. His books are about communication design or everything that hovers around design and aesthetics. As a football fan he has published a book about soccer too.

Additionally Fons is a member of the TDC New York, the AGI Alliance Graphique International and Borussia Dortmund. He is a winner of more than 200 Designawards. Since 2018 he is the president of the association »100 Beste Plakate« (100 Best Posters of Austria, Germany, Switzerland).
