Dinamo will be represented by Founder Johannes Breyer.

Dinamo is a type design team based in Basel, Berlin & Porto. Offering retail and bespoke typefaces, design tools, research, and consultancy we try to move between commercial, cultural, essential and inessential projects. Collaborators range from the artist-run 1 person-run cultural publisher to Alicia Keys, the International Olympic Committee, Rimowa, Goat or On Running.

Johannes Breyer is a German / Chilean graphic designer based in Berlin. Se habla Español. He studied in Zurich and worked for design studio NORM before graduating from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam. Together with Fabian Harb, he founded the Swiss type design practice Dinamo.

Johannes will talk about Dinamo’s variable way of working, collaborating, and thinking, and how in-house tools have become a method for exploring new and old aesthetics, economic models, and potentials in typeface design.

Johannes will speak at the Forward Festival Hamburg in April. Next to him, you will be able to hear Creatives like Deutsche & Japaner, Charlotte Rohde, Jean-Remy von Matt and many more.
